EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - Project to Develop an “On-line Innovation Factory”

ECHAlliance Members ONLY

The Manchester mHealth Ecosystem has successfully attracted funding from the UK JISC to develop an open innovation platform for the ecosystem.

The project aims to go beyond what is currently available, to develop an “on-line innovation factory” in which ecosystem members can collaborate to scope out health and social care problems, co-produce mHealth solutions and develop sustainable plans for stage-gated deployment.
The Manchester Ecosystem would welcome contributions from other ECHAlliance members.

The project is just getting underway and must be completed by end February 2013.

ECHAlliance Members can contribute in a number of ways, by:
a. Helping to identify open innovation platforms that are already available, that we could adapt and build on
b. Acting as a “critical friend”, commenting on the core requirements and the design and implementation
c. Committing time to getting involved in the requirements gathering exercise
d. Contributing resources or expertise to help develop the platform

If you are interested in getting involved [ECHAlliance Members ONLY] in the development of the “on-line innovation factory”, please contact matthew.rigby@manchester.ac.uk with brief details of how you might be able to contribute.

Please note that anything developed by the project must be made available under Open Source principles.
Best Wishes
